The ACTDiag utility is included with your installation of Act!. To run it, click your Windows® Start button, either click Run or go to the Search box on your Start menu, and type actdiag. Select Actdiag which will launch the application. If you get the Disclaimer window, select OK. You will then get the Act! Dianostics window. Select Databases, then Database Details LIst which will give you the following View.
Left click in the 1st column of the locked database, then right click in the same place to get the actions list.
Select the Unlock Database option. This will unlock the database and give you the following message.
Select OK and Exit the Act! Diagnostics Utility. You may now open your database.
